Tuition: $344 Days: 3 Days / 24 Hours of Instruction Critical Incident Response - Transit Systems
This course is of special interest to not only the officers working within a transit system police force, but to the larger number of officers and supervisors from surrounding agencies who would respond to a mutual aid call during an emergency event concerning a bus or light rail vehicle.
Students will have the opportunity to closely inspect buses and trains used in transit systems today and to learn about the particular daily operations of these systems.
Students will learn about the four-step Critical Incident Response Plan and will have an opportunity to actually apply this plan during a series of classroom exercises designed around emergencies in transit systems.
